French “Spiderman” released on bail

(Eagle News) — Alain Robert, also known as the French Spiderman, was released on bail on Wednesday, Jan. 30.

Police said Robert was temporarily released after he posted the P3,000 bail set by the Makati Prosecutors’ Office.

His arraignment for alarm and scandal and other forms of trespassing was scheduled on Friday, Feb. 1.

Robert was arrested by the Makati police after he scaled the 47-storey tower on Ayala Ave. on Tuesday, Jan. 29.

Robert’s climbs include the Eiffel Tower, the Sydney Opera House, among others.
