QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — Former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III will attend the fifth and possibly last hearing on the controversial Dengvaxia vaccine of the House of Representatives Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability slated on Monday, February 26.
This was according to Committee Chair Rep. Johnny Pimentel.
He said Aquino had already sent word that he would attend the committee hearing.
Pimentel said the committee wanted to ask Aquino if he gave authorization for the re-alignment of budget savings so the government can procure the Dengvaxia vaccines.
