(Eagle News)–Around 40 families lost their homes in a fire in Quezon City on Sunday, Nov. 3.
The Bureau of Fire Protection said the fire that started in a house on Kaunlaran St. in Barangay Commonwealth at 6:15 p.m. also left damage to property worth P150,000.
Authorities said the blaze quickly spread to adjacent houses and engulfed nearby market stalls.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority earlier said the fire hit the Commonwealth market in Litex.
The blaze reached the third alarm and was put out around an hour later.
