LAS VEGAS, USA (Eagle News) — Henderson, a suburb located about 20 miles east of the famous Las Vegas strip hosted its annual Water Street Car Show, Saturday, September 23, 2017.

The historic street transformed into a car museum as hundreds of attendees enjoyed taking a stroll back to the past to check out and personally see about 300 classic, custom, and muscle cars.

There were even hot rods, motorcycles, and boats on display. Registered car owners got the chance to win the top prize of $1,000 and more cash prizes and gifts.

The Car Show also welcomed Ms. Nevada 2017 winner, Andrea Martinez who proudly performed the US National Anthem at the event.

She said that it was a great show, not only because of the classic cars on display, but because it had also become a family and community event.

“I love how everyone is coming together and getting to interact with each other and see these really cool cars. Food also brings everyone together. It has been great to come out and interact with the community,” Martinez said.

This free event gathered the community for live music, unique food trucks, and carnival rides for the entire family to enjoy.
