Exploring indie music

QUEZON City, Philippines (February 27) – Of course, our personalities influence our music preference. Also, we listen to music that reflects our mood. If you are one for exploring new auditory treats, why not try indie music?

Indie music is a very hard genre to define – which is why it does not get that much of a coverage from FM Radio stations and recording companies that like music that are easily labelled and marketed accordingly.

The Philippine music scene is actually alive with indie music, with many OPM bands and singers to choose from.

This woman is not just about music – she’s also into art, design and fashion. And Reese excels on all of her chosen fields. Her songs are idiosyncratically titled: “Exploration No. 5”, “ Grammar Nazi” and “You Stole My Laptop”. Most of her lyrics portray things that are rather unusual – like good grammar, creepy stalkers, the solar system – you get the idea. Her debut album was released in 2015 entitled “ Arigato, Internet”
