EBC FUN RUN TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For participants 18 years and above: By completing and submitting the information required, I certify that I am of legal age and that I have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions for participation in this event.
For participant below 18 years old: By completing and submitting the information requires, I certify that I am the Parent/Legal Guardian of this participant who is a minor and I give my voluntary consent for my child/ward to participate in this event and that I have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions for participation in this event on behalf of my child/ward and declare him/ her as capable of completing the event he/ she has entered.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Before the Run
- I agree to pay the registration fee corresponding to the race category I have chosen which is non-refundable.
- I agree that I cannot anymore change my race category once registered.
- I agree that children four (4) years old and above shall pay the full amount of the race category they will be participating in.
- Each registered participant shall receive a race kit depending on the Race Category he/shehas joined.
- Items included in the race kit (e.g. singlet, race bib, string bag) and their corresponding size/s cannot be changed once submitted.
- The Claiming Date for the race kit will be announced through EBC’s Official Social Media Accounts andannouncements through its platforms Net25, PinasFM 95.5, and DZEC RadyoAgila1062khz.
During the Run
- Participants will be responsible to keep the race venue clean and litter free at all times.
- Participants are required to wear their respective Singlet and Race Bib at all times during the Run.
- Only participants with Official Race Bib shall be allowed to enter the race route on the day/time of the event.
- All participants are encouraged to join the warm-up exercises which will be held at the Great Stairs of Ciudad De Victoria at exactly 3:30p.m.
- Participants are expected to be at the starting line 15 minutes before their respective Run Schedule.
- Bringing of baggage is highly discouraged. However, a Baggage Area will still be provided but only from 1:00PM to 10:00PM. Participants agree that their baggage will be subjected to security inspections as the organizers may implement during the event. Likewise, participants shall bear their own loss, damage, or deterioration of their belongings.
- Strollers and baby carriers are allowed for families with very young children. However, parents shall be responsible for the safekeeping and management of such strollers and/or carriers.
- A Finisher’s Medal will be given only to those who finish the 9.55km category.
General Terms and Conditions
- As a participant/Parent/Legal Guardian of the participant, I shall indemnify the event organizer, sponsors, volunteers, and employees involved in this event, directly or indirectly, against all liability for any and all injury, loss, or damage connected with my participation, or participation of the minor.
- I voluntarily submitted all information required herein, free from any force or undue influence.
- I am aware that the event shall take place, whether rain or shine, unless canceled by the organizer due to calamity or unforeseen event beyond anyone’s control.
- I consent to receive information, updates, and other messages from the event organizers and to submit all necessary documents, including but not limited to a Declaration of Participation.
