Duterte meets with leaders of the MNLF and MILF

(Eagle News) — President-elect Rodrigo Duterte met with leaders of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front ( MILF ) and Moro National Liberation Front ( MNLF ) in Davao City Friday night.

The incoming president met with MILF Chairman Al – Haj Murad Ebrahim, First Vice Chairman Ghadzali Jaafar, and MILF Chairman Datu Abul Khayr Alonto and other supporters.  The meeting took about an hour.

One of the issues discussed is the planned shift to a federal form of government.

The representatives of the MNLF and MILF also expressed support for the President-elect’s programs for the country.
