(Eagle News)–The Department of Transportation has issued a preliminary suspension order on three private emission testing centers for allegedly falsifying emission test results.
In a statement on Saturday, Sept. 21, the DOTr said the following have been served the order:
1. SUBICPRO COMMONDITIES CORPORATION in Subic Bay Freeport Zone
2. RLW EMISSION TESTING CENTER in
Mabiga, Mabalacat, Pampanga
3. NEVAEH BEA EMISSION TEST CENTER in Tanza,Cavite
The DOTr said the suspension is effective for 90 days.
Aside from the centers concerned, copies of the suspension order were served to the center IT service provider, which the DOTr said shall be subject to the same penalties should it continue to process any data transmitted by such centers.
