DFA: Due to ongoing system upgrade, rescheduling feature in online appointment system temporarily unavailable

(Eagle News) — The rescheduling feature in the  Department of Foreign Affairs online appointment system is temporarily unavailable, the agency said.

In a statement, the DFA said this was due to an “ongoing system upgrade.”

“Applicants are strongly advised to choose the date and location that is most convenient for them so as to avoid the need to reschedule,” the DFA said.

If rescheduling was unavoidable, the DFA said they may make the request by sending an e-mail to:

  • [email protected] for applicants in DFA-Aseana
  • the e-mail addresses of their respective DFA consular office in https://consular.dfa.gov.ph/directory for applicants in other DFA consular office

The DFA said the subject of the e-mail must be “PPT Reschedule.

The e-mail must be sent no later than three days prior to the confirmed schedule date.

The body of the e-mail, the DFA said, must also have the following details:

• Appointment reference number
• Applicant name
• Original appointment date and site
• Requested new appointment date and site

“Applicants are requested to bring proof of e-mail confirmation from the Consular Office on the date of their rescheduled appointment,” the agency said.

“The DFA appreciates the continued cooperation and understanding of the public,” it added.
