Motorists in Davao have been advised to take alternate routes with the road closure to be implemented during the Iglesia Ni Cristo’s Worldwide Walk on Sunday, May 6.
According to the Davao government, there will be a closure from C.M. Recto Avenue to Bonifacio Street up to Victoria Plaza, J.P. Laurel Avenue particularly fronting Penong’s Grill and Restaurant.
“The southbound lane of J.P. Laurel Avenue will be open and used for two-way traffic while the event is going on,” the Davao government said.
According to the city government, Roxas Avenue (inner portion-side of canal), Freedom Park (outside Boy Scout) and along Central Bank have also been designated as parking areas.
