Cine Europa Frenzy continues on its 18th year

SEPTEMBER 11 (Eagle News) — Cine Europa celebrates its 18th year, fittingly, with the theme “coming of age”. The “debutante” was heralded with a socializing event for its European and Philippine partners, followed by remarks from honored guests and its first film-screening for 2015 in Mandaluyong City on September 9.

During its two-month run, Cine Europa will screen twenty-three films from eighteen European countries. Venues in 10 different cities all over the Philippines are lined up to host the event, upping the ante from last year’s 9 cities.

With the theme “coming of age”, the films feature stories about growing up and finding oneself as they showcase the various cultures, experiences and traditions of Europe.
