In response to the invitation extended by Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert Del Rosario, the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, is now in the Philippines for a working visit.
Said visit is also in preparation for the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to the Philippines to attend the APEC Summit.
The visit of President Xi Jinping is much anticipated due to the rising tensions between the Philippines and China due to the ongoing territorial disputes in the West Philippine Sea.
