MANILA, Philippines – According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, it is still verifying international news reports that China is constructing military bases in the reclaimed area in the West Philippine Sea.
On the other hand, Presidential Spokeman Edwin Lacierda said that President Benigno Aquino already received the news and has asked the Department of National Defense to verify said reports.
