The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) gave household livelihood assistance to selected barangays which had been earlier displaced by the fighting in Marawi, as part of its “Marawi Early Recovery” program. Orange rainfall warning hoisted over Zambales
(Eagle News)–An orange rainfall warning has been hoisted over Zambales, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Monday, Aug. 20. PAGASA said a yellow rainfall warning, on the other hand, is up over Bataan. Light to moderate rains with occasional heavy rains are currently affecting Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac , Nueva Ecija, Laguna, Cavite and Batangas.
