DOH: 13 injured in firecracker-related incidents so far

(Eagle News)—-Thirteen people have so far been injured in firecracker-related incidents, the Department of Health said. According to the DOH,  12 individuals have been wounded because of fireworks from Dec. 21 to 25. Another one was affected because of  “fireworks ingestion,” the DOH said. The DOH said 11 victims were male.

DOF to BOC: Donate 30,000 bags of undocumented rice to DSWD

(Eagle News)–The Department of Finance has ordered the Bureau of Customs to donate 30,000 bags of undocumented rice shipments to the Department of Social Welfare and Development. Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez made the announcement in an e-mailed statement on Tuesday, Dec. 25.
