MANILA, Feb. 9 — Malacañang announced several budget allocations for the Department of Education (DepEd) Sunday to fund various programs and projects aimed at augmenting public school personnel and improving the quality of education in the country. Rare megamouth shark found in Albay

A 15 foot megamouth male shark found by fishermen with its tail missing was washed up on a beach in Marigondon, Pioduran in between Albay and Masbate provinces last January 28, 2015. First hearing with Two Survivors of Mamasapano Clash

Two survivors of the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) of the Mamasapano incident were invited as resource persons in the Senate today for its first hearing. Napeñas: 250 MILF and BIFF killed at Mamaspano

The death toll of MILF and Bangsamoro Freedom fighters in Mamaspano, Maguindanao has reached 250 according to former SAF Commander Chief Supt. Getulio Napeñas based on the report given by SAF survivors Supt. Raymond Train and PO2 Christopher Lalan. According to Train’s account, 25-30 rebels were hurt in the clashes. Buses of De la Rosa Transit, grounded

After being involved in an accident, all 70 of the city buses of the De la Rosa Transit were grounded. According to LTFRB, said buses should first undergo road-worthiness tests and respective drivers should also undergo drug tests and safety driving seminars.
