Former VP Binay to seek seat in House in 2019 — report

(Eagle News)–Former Vice President Jejomar Binay is running for a seat in the House of Representatives in 2019. Quoting the Binays’ spokesperson Joey Salgado,  a report said Binay will go against Monsour del Rosario for the 1st district congressional seat. Salgado, the report said, also announced Makati Mayor Abby Binay would run for reelection. The elder Binay lost in the 2016 elections.

78 percent of Filipinos satisfied with President Duterte’s war on drugs

(Eagle News)—-Seventy-eight percent of Filipinos are satisfied with President Rodrigo Duterte’s  war on drugs, a recent Social Weather Stations survey said.
