Satur Ocampo, who have been charged with trafficking and for violation of the law that protects children. Ocampo’s group had said they were merely conducting a solidarity mission to lumads affected by the padlocking of a community center by a paramilitary group in Davao when they were blocked by the military.

According to Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, the President “has to fly to Mindanao to attend to the problem of insurgency in Mindanao.” Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea will take his place. This was after President Rodrigo Duterte signed her appointment paper as ad interim commissioner of the body on Nov. 9.
