Malacañang respects the Malolos Regional Trial Court’s decision to transfer Palparan, saying that the court has ample reasons to do so. Thailand bags contract for rice supply

After 20 years, Thailand once again secured the bigger contract of supplying rice to the Philippines. According to National Food Authority spokesman, Rex Estoperez, Thailand offered the lowest price for 300, 000 metric tons of rice, with $475 per metric ton. UN Peacekeepers in Golan Heights transferred due to rising tensions

UN peacekeepers in the Golan Heights, occupying four positions and a camp in the Syrian side of the Syria-Iraq border, were transferred due to rising tensions in the region. Peacekeeping staff in UN positions 10, 16, 31 and 37, as well as, the camp at Camp Faouar were relocated. Last month, 45 UNDOF peacekeepers were abducted by rebels.
