According to Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff General Pio Catapang, eleven countries expressed their readiness to help the Philippines after the onslaught of “Ruby”. The World Food Programme and European Union also expressed their willingness to help.
Casualties due to “Ruby”
In Iloilo, three were recorded dead due to “Ruby” while another was recorded in eastern Samar.
“Ruby” maintains its strength
According to the PAGASA, “Ruby” was able to maintain its strength over Masbate, while it lost speed.
