NBI coordinates with Malaysia regarding Veloso’s recruiters

MANILA, Philippines – According to Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Leila De Lima, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is now coordinating with Malaysian counterparts regarding the foreign conspirators who were responsible for recruiting Mary Jane Veloso. De Lima added that they are waiting for formal request to place Veloso’s recruiters under the Immigration’s watch list. The NBI filed charges of human trafficking, illegal recruitment and estafa.
