Countries agree to be malaria free

GENEVA, Switzerland (Eagle News) – According to the World Health Organization, member countries agreed to eradicate malaria by 2030. Said agreement came about in an assembly held at Geneva, Switzerland. Said agreement targets to lower malaria cases by 40% in 2020 and by 90% in 2030. Angat Dam nears critical level

ANGAT Dam, Bulacan (Eagle News) – At 180.95 meters, the water level in Angat Dam neared the critical level for irrigation which is 180 meters. Myanmar says finds more than 200 Bangladeshis in boat offshore

Islamic State claims responsibility for Yemen mosque bombing

Old banknotes till December 2015 only

MANILA, Philippines, May 22 (Eagle News) — The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas reminded the public that old banknotes issued in 1985 can only be used up to December 31, 2015.
