The weather bureau is closely monitoring a new low pressure area (LPA) off the Pacific Ocean. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that this LPA could possibly develop into a tropical storm and that may enter in the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Friday or Saturday. Starting today, December 10, the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) is set to release its cash gift to a total of 235, 180 pensioners. An earthquake measuring 6.9 magnitudes on Wednesday evening rocked the Malaku provincial capital of Ambon, Indonesia. According to the U.S. Geological survey, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at 111 kilometers southeast of Ambon. The USGS reported that the earthquake hitting at a depth of 33.9 kilometers.
