COMELEC records 150 malfunctioning VCMs

QUEZON City, Philippines – The Commission on Elections recorded 150 vote-counting machines that experienced malfunction at yesterday’s elections. According to COMELEC Commissioner Rowena Guanzon, most of the malfunctioning vote-counting machines were immediately replaced. The COMELEC added that these incidents were more acceptable compared to the last automated elections were 1, 300 machines experienced technical problems. Large tornado hits south of Oklahoma City, one death

  (REUTERS) A large and violent tornado hit an area south of Oklahoma City on Monday, causing at least one death and reducing at least three homes to splinters.
