Police included in “narco list” will be declared AWOL if they do not report

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) – – The leadership of the Philippine National Police warned that those police who were included in the “narco list” will be declared AWOL or absent without leave if they fail to report within 11 days to their mother units. Those who fail to report may also face charges of insubordination. The PNP added that the alleged “narco-cops” need not report to Camp Crame but can report instead to their immediate superiors.

SC does not see need to suspend judges allegedly involved in illegal drug trade

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Supreme Court does not see the need to place the four judges named by President Rodrigo Duterte as involved in illegal drug trade under preventive suspension. According to SC Public Information Office Chief Atty. Theodore Te, the four are currently undergoing fact-finding and administrative investigation.
