4.9-magnitude quake jolts Surigao del Sur
(Eagle News) — A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur, on Friday, June 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake–with a depth of focus pegged at six kilometers– hit Bislig at 9:44 a.m. The earthquake was felt at Intensity IV in Bislig City, and Intensity III in Hinatuan.
