PHL Air Force resumes air strikes in Marawi City

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Philippine Air Force (PAF) used its air assets as the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) resumed its airstrikes against the remaining Islamist militants in Marawi City. It is now the 43rd day after President Rodrigo Duterte declared martial law in Mindanao following the Maute Group attack on May 23. At past 6 a.m., fighter jets of the PAF started dropping bombs in Maute-held territories in Marawi City.

EU gives PhP48M in financial aid to help civilians displaced by Marawi conflict
