PDEA nabs two alleged members of African drug cartel

(Eagle News) — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency on Saturday announced the arrest of two Nigerians who were allegedly members of an African drug cartel operating in Bicol and the Calabarzon area. 4.0-magnitude earthquake hits eastern Samar

(Eagle News) — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck eastern Samar on Saturday, the Philippine Institute for Volcanology and Seismology said. PHIVOLCS said the quake hit 56 kilometers northeast of San Policarpo at 3:45 a.m. The depth of focus of the earthquake, which was tectonic in origin, was at 5 kilometers. There were no reported aftershocks.
