At least seven hurt in Caloocan fire

(Eagle News) — At least seven people were hurt and around P180,000 worth of property was damaged after a fire hit a residential area in Caloocan City on Thursday, Nov. 14.

A report identified the injured in the fire that struck Barangay 33 at 10:58 a.m. as Roberto Sison, 59; Carmelita Revilla, 79; Gloria Policarpio, 64; Rolando de Guzman; Wilfredo Benitez; Marilou Garcia, 50; and Elizar Tatasin, 40.

Initial investigation showed the blaze started in a two-story house on Damayan St., and it quickly spread to adjacent houses.

The fire, which affected around 12 families, was placed under control at 11:27 a.m. With reports from Kristine Dantes, Roberto Santos
