BONN, Germany (Reuters) — Former California governor-turned-green activist, Arnold Schwarzenegger, said on Sunday (November 12) he would do everything in his power to make sure the Paris climate agreement is implemented.

Speaking at an event event organized by local and regional governments on the sidelines of the Bonn talks on global warming, the former Hollywood star also said it was everyone’s responsibility to act.

The Austrian-born actor, who served two terms as California governor, also praised his successor Jerry Brown for having taken an interest in environmental questions before it became mainstream, comparing him to Schwarzenegger’s famous role in the film, “The Terminator.”

He also said U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to take the Untied states out of the 2015 Paris Agreement was of no consequence as so much work was being done on a regional level.
