MAKATI CITY, May 20 – In preparation of the incoming school year, the Department of Trade and Industry – National Capital Regional Office (DTI-NCRO) in partnership with the Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion (BDTP) has started a Diskwento Caravan Balik-Eskwela Edition at the OTOP Showroom at the Trade and Industry Building in Makati City which will run from May 2 until May 27.
The Diskwento Caravan Balik-Eskwela Edition is one of the regular projects of DTI where participating manufacturers sell their products at an affordable and discounted price. Products are sold at 10-70% lower than the suggested retail price (SRP).
The Diskwento Caravan Balik-Eskwela Edition aims to provide and bring basic and prime commodities closer to the general consuming public who are holding office at the business district of Makati. Products displayed during the Balik-Eskwela Editions are food items, school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and other school related merchandise.
The Diskwento Caravan Balik-Eskwela Edition is also in partnership with the local manufacturers of school related items who are willing to sell at a lower price. (DTI)
