(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed a retired police official to a post at the Office of the President.
Documents released by the Palace on Thursday, Jan. 31, showed Gilbert Sosa, former head of the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group who retired from the police force in August 2018, was appointed as assistant secretary on Tuesday, Jan. 29.
Former Manila Rep. Ramon Bagatsing was also appointed as ambassador to India (with concurrent jurisdiction over Nepal) and Noe Wong as ambassador to South Korea.
