(Eagle News) — Nilagdaan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Memorandum 31 na nag-uutos sa Philippine National Police na magsagawa ng inspeksyon sa manufacturers, distributors at retailers ng mga firecracker at pyrotechnic devices.
Ito’y para matiyak na nasusunod ang mga regulasyon at safety guidelines ng gobyerno lalo’t nalalapit na naman ang holiday season at selebrasyon ng bagong taon.
PNP, ‘di muna magbibigay ng permit at lisensya sa manufacturers, distributors at mga retailer ng firecrackers at pyrotechnic devices
Base pa sa memorandum, pansamantala munang ititigil ng PNP Firearms and Explosives Office ang pag-iissue ng bagong permit at lisensya sa mga manufacturer, distributor at retailer ng firecrackers at pyrotechnic devices.
Ito’y habang nirerepaso ng PNP ang lisensya at permit ng mga nasa firecrackers industry.
Total firecracker ban sa bansa, posibleng ipatupad – PNP chief
Naniniwala naman si Albayalde na posibleng tuluyang magpatupad ng firecracker ban sa buong bansa.
“That’s just my personal outlook dito na probably ito ang magiging ano dyan or probably malilimit yung ating manufacturers. Yung mga manufacturers will be limited na at kung talagang maging compliant sila kasi as of this time, meron pa ring mga kung sinu-sino gumagawa ng firecrackers at their backyard kaya that causes injuries, fires and even deaths.
