(Eagle News) – Fourteen bodies have been recovered as of Saturday, Nov. 3, from the site of a landslide that covered in rubble the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) building in Natonin, Mountain Province.
Two bodies were recovered on Saturday, bringing the total of bodies recovered from the rubble at 14.
Only 11 of the bodies had been identified.
According to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of Mountain Province, among those who have been identified were Elberto Botco, a worker for Raf General Construction; Gregorio Castro, Joel Arevalo and Junjun Aragon of Moment Diagram Construction; and neighbors Juanito Longan, Virginia Catet, John Tinmakcheg, and Benito Longan.
On Friday, the Mt. Province PDRRMO said that 12 bodies had been recovered.
Four bodies were recovered on Oct. 31, four more on Nov. 1, and another four on Nov. 2. Two bodies were recovered on Nov. 3.
