NCRPO: Entire Pasay precinct sacked for “pocketing” robbery victim’s money

(Eagle News) — Policemen in a  precinct in Pasay have been sacked following allegations they pocketed a robbery victim’s money.

In a television interview,  National Capital Region Police Office chief Director Oscar Albayalde said a total of 35 personnel, including the commander of Police Community Precinct 3 have been ordered relieved.

“”Mayroon tayong iniimbestigahan na complaint doon na may na-recover silang pera sa isang robbery at tinitingnan natin ang alegasyon na pinaghatihatian nila,” Albayalde said, without providing additional details.

The order for the relief came days after Albayalde ordered the sacking of the entire Caloocan Police force–except two newly installed police officials—after a series of controversial incidents involving the men in uniform in that city.

These incidents include a group of policemen barging inside a house without a search warrant, and the killings of three minors in questionable police operations.
