(Eagle News)–A 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck Japan on Saturday, Oct. 12, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.

The JMA said the quake hit Chiba-ken Nanto-oki at 6:22 p.m. (JST).

Depth of focus was 80 kilometers.
