(Eagle News) — At exactly 12 noon on June 30, 2016, President Rodrigo Duterte took his oath as the 16th Philippine President in simple ceremonies inside Malacanang’s Rizal Hall.
Administering the oath was Supreme Court Associate Justice Bienvenido Reyes. His youngest daughter, Veronica “Kitty” Duterte held the Bible used for the oath-taking while his two sons, Paolo and Sebastian, and daughter, Sara Dutrete, looked on.
At exact 12:01 p.m., immediately after his oath-taking, President Duterte signed his oath of office.
