(Eagle News)–Police on Wednesday, July 11, recovered the vehicle allegedly used by suspects in the killing of Trece Martires, Cavite Vice Mayor Alexander Lubigan.

A police report said the Maragondon municipal police recovered the metallic black or dark green Toyota Hilux on the Mabacao-Pantihan Bridge in Barangay Tulay B at 6:55 a.m.

The suspects had reportedly planned to dispose of the vehicle, which had no plate number nor conduction sticker, off the cliff.

Lubigan was ambushed on Saturday, July 6, in Trece Martires, after General Tinio, Nueva Ecija Mayor Ferdinand Bote and Tanauan, Batangas Mayor Antonio Halili were killed on July 3 and 2, respectively. Mar Gabriel
