QUEZON City, Philippines – The senate opposition is asking President Rodrigo Duterte to consider carefully before totally abrogating the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) between the Philippines and the United States.
Senate minority leader Senator Ralph Recto said that they are not against the abrogation of the EDCA but that its effects should be considered, especially with regard to disaster relief operations previously provided by the US.
