In its 9:20 a.m. advisory, PAGASA said apart from the heavy rainshowers, lightning and strong winds were expected in Bataan, Zambales, Laguna, Pampanga, Cavite and Tarlac within the next two hours.
Angat, Norzagaray, San Jose del Monte, San Miguel, San Ildefonso and Dona Remedios in Bulacan; General Nakar in Queon; Rizal; and Nueva Ecija are also expected to experience the same conditions within two hours.
So far, PAGASA said these were already being experienced in North Fairview, in Quezon City.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
