Three killed in Manila fire

(Eagle News)—Three people were killed after a fire hit a residential area in Manila on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

The charred bodies of Lynrose Balot Valentin, 50; her son Jordan Valentin, 26; and a 17-year-old relative were found on the second floor of the house on  Doña Maria Street in Sampaloc after the fire, which began past 6 a.m., was put out at 6:47 a.m.

The blaze did not reach he first alarm.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
