South African Ambassador greets INC Executive Minister on 7th year of dynamic leadership

(Eagle News) — South African Ambassador to the Philippines Martin Slabber congratulated Iglesia Ni Cristo Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo on the seventh anniversary of his dynamic leadership in the Church.

In his personal greetings, the South African envoy relayed his request to the INC members and also to the people of the Philippines to “pray for Brother Manalo so that he will always have wisdom to lead the Church in the manner that God wants him to do.”

In his congratulatory message to Brother Manalo, Ambassador Slabber said the Iglesia Ni Cristo has “an important role to play not only in the lives of the members of the Church, but in the lives of the Filipino people, and people also here in the world.”

In July this year, the South African ambassador made a courtesy call to the INC Executive Minister after learning about the evangelical and outreach missions of the Church in various parts of the world, including in South Africa.

He also learned about the rapid expansion of the INC not only in South Africa but throughout the entire African continent.

Recently, on August 20 and 27, the INC Executive Minister himself officiated special worship services in Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa to dedicate INC buildings of worship there.

Many South Africans who are members of the INC also attended the said gatherings, and expressed their sincere appreciation for the visit of Brother Eduardo.

The INC executive minister first conducted the special pastoral visitation on August 20 in the city of Johannesburg where brethren from different parts of South Africa gathered to worship and praise God.  Brother Eduardo officiated a special worship service where the new INC building of worship in this city was dedicated to God

A week later, on August 27, Brother Eduardo conducted another pastoral visitation, this time, in Cape Town where the INC building of worship was also dedicated during a special worship service which the INC Executive Minister officiated.
