Several PHL airports receive “one-star” on time ratings; Iloilo Airport beats HK, KL and Seoul int’l airports

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) – For the first time, eight airports in the Philippines received a one-star rating regarding their “on-time” performance by the Official Aviation Guide, an air travel intelligence company based in the United Kingdom.

One of these is Iloilo International Airport which is ranked the highest among the airports in the Philippines.  It also ranked 14th in Asia, besting even Hong Kong International Airport, Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Seoul Incheon International Airport and Beijing International Airport.  It is listed as the best airport in the Philippines.  It received an on-time performance score pf 67.5 percent

The other airports that received a one-star rating and made it to the are the following:

• Bacolod-Silay Airport  (64.7 OTP score)
• Davao International Airport  (64.1 OTP score)
• Tacloban Airport (64.1 OTP score)
• Cagayan de Oro International Airport   (63.2 OTP score)
• Ninoy Aquino International Airport   (61 OTP score)
• Kalibo International Airport  (57.2 OTP score)
• Puerto Princesa International Airport  (54.7 OTP score)

The highest on-time performance scores received a 5-star rating.  Two of the airports with the highest on-time scores are the Tokushima (92.8 OTP score) and Kochi (91.5 OTP score) airports, both of which are in Japan.
