Philippine Arena-bound INC members reminded to observe traffic rules

QUEZON CITY, Philippines — Iglesia Ni Cristo Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, called on all INC members who will be going to the Philippine Arena for the Church’s centennial celebration this weekend to obey the traffic rules to be implemented. “Sundin ninyonglagi anglahat ng kaayusang ipinatutupad upang mapayapa at maayos nating maisagawa ang ating pagdiriwang, (Follow always all the rules being implemented so that our celebration will be peaceful and orderly,” said Brother Manalo in a circular read during the worship services in all INC local congregations on July 23 and 24 (Wednesday and Thursday) He also instructed the delegates especially those who will be coming from remote places to bring all the necessary things to ensure their safety. Most of all, he emphasized to them the value of prayer: “Higit sa lahat, huwag ninyong kalilimutang manalangin muna upang ihabilin sa ating Dakilang Diyos ang gagawin ninyong paglalakbay”(Above all, do not forget to pray first to commend to our Almighty God the journey that you will undertake). In the circular, the Executive Minister also informed the faithful about the series of events that will be held in the newly inaugurated Ciudad de Victoria to mark the 100th anniversary of the Church, namely:

  • the pyromusical show on the evening of July 26
  • the special worship service on July 27 at7:00 AM, followed by an oratorio, which will feature special musical performances.
  • the musical show on July 29 (Tuesday) that will dramatize the Church’s 100-year history
  • the stage play on July 31 (Thursday) that portrays the life and ministry of Brother Felix Y. Manalo, whom INC members believe is God’s Messenger in these last days
  • the Bible quiz “Tagisan ng Talino”on August 1, wherein INC youths representing various countries around the world will vie for championship
  • the INC evangelical mission on August 2, wherein non-member guests will be invitedto listen to the biblical teachings that the INC has been firmly upholding for the past 100 years.

All of these events, according to Brother Eduardo Manalo, will be held with the purpose of giving praise and glory to God Almighty. The INC leader also expressed in his circular his earnest longing for all INC brethren benefit spiritually from their celebration of the Church’s 100th anniversary: “Ang pagdiriwang ng atingSentenaryo ay magbunga naman sa bawat isa ng ikalalago ng ating pananampalataya, pag-ibig, at pag-asa”(May our Centennial celebration bring about in each one of us further growth in our faith, love, and hope).   (Eagle News Service)
