Pagasa warns of “threatening flooding” in Cavite as “Domeng” continues to enhance the southwest monsoon

(Eagle News) — The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration on Saturday, June 9, warned of “threatening flooding” in Cavite, as “Domeng” continues to enhance the southwest monsoon, resulting in rains.

In an advisory issued at 11 a.m., Pagasa said an orange rainfall warning was hoisted over the province.

A yellow warning level remains hoisted over Metro Manila, Bataan and Bulacan, with Batangas, Laguna and Rizal added to the list.

Zambales is no longer under a yellow warning level, based on the Pagasa advisory.

“The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate action,” Pagasa said.
