Lacson hits back at Bravo; dares him to disclose his amendments to proposed nat’l budget for 2019

(Eagle News)—-Senator Panfilo Lacson on Saturday, Feb. 2, hit back at Rep. Anthony Bravo, and dared him to make public all the amendments he made to the proposed national budget for 2019.

Lacson made the call after Bravo accused the senator of having secret amendments in the proposed P3.787 trillion budget.

“MR CONGRESSMAN, I ALREADY MADE PUBLIC ALL MY AMENDMENTS IN THE 2019 NATIONAL BUDGET. CAN YOU DO THE SAME?” Lacson said in a Tweet.

He added when he first met Bravo in 2016, “he came across as genuine, sincere and credible.”

“I normally am a good judge of character, but looks and first instance demeanor can be deceiving sometimes,” he added in another Tweet.

Bravo had accused Lacson of having the secret amendments after the senator supposedly had a change of heart when he supposedly said that the “insertions” were not pork.

But Lacson has stood firm on what he said was his quest against pork, and disclosed  that members of the House would be getting P160 million each in the same in the budget approved by the House, far from the P60 million originally allotted for each of them.
