(Eagle News) — The Philippine economy posted a 6.2 percent growth in 2018, the Philippine Statistics Authority announced on Thursday, Jan. 24.
This was after the economy posted a 6.1 percent growth in the fourth quarter of 2018.
According to the PSA, this was higher than the 6.0 percent recorded in the third quarter of 2018.
It said it was, however, lower than the 6.5 percent recorded in the same quarter in 2017.
