Jeep Wrangler now comes in five variants

The Jeep Wrangler moves into 2016 with updates designed to further enhance the Wrangler ownership experience. The combination of open-air freedom, off-road capability and on-road refinement has brought Jeep Wrangler’s popularity at an all-time high. For 2016, the Jeep Wrangler comes in five variants:Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara, All-new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport S (3.6L V6 or 2.8L Diesel), and the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport.

Features for the 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited line-up include a standard eight-speaker audio system and an improved sound bar (Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport S) or a Premium alpine Audio System that includes nine Alpine speakers, a new subwoofer that is relocated under the cargo floor for added cargo capacity, and a 552-watt amplifier (Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon).

A new standard Torx Tool Kit comes with T-30, T-35, T-40, and T-50 torx heads, a ratchet, and a storage pouch. The Torx Tool Kit adds convenience to removing the doors and roof as owners can now leave their personal tools at home.

Jeep Wrangler has always had a unique variety of colors to choose from, and 2016 is no different. New exterior colors include: Firecracker Red, Billet Silver, Black, Bright White, Hydro Blue, Granite Crystal, and Rhino Clear Coat.

The Jeep Wrangler is available with an array of safety and security technology features. Standard electronic stability control (ESC), electronic roll mitigation, trailer-sway control, Hill-start Assist and brake traction control are among two dozen available safety and security features. Jeep safety systems are engineered to improve handling and accident avoidance while providing occupant protection, allowing Jeep Wrangler owners the ability to safely “go anywhere and do anything.”

Jeep Wrangler stays connected with Uconnect systems, including voice recognition, Bluetooth streaming audio (Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon). The Jeep Wrangler’s connectivity systems have improved ergonomics by giving the driver control at their fingertips. Intuitive buttons on the front and rear of the steering wheel control a number of features allowing the driver to keep hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.
