INC appreciates firefighters and sheriff in Waldorf, Maryland

Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo in Waldorf, Maryland give gift baskets to the county sheriff.

(Eagle News) – The members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) , Waldorf Congregation, trooped to Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department (WVFD) at Old Washington Road, and to Charles County Sheriff Department in Leonardtown Road, both in Waldorf, Maryland to take part in the community service being conducted by the Iglesia Ni Cristo all over the world. This event was in connection with the Church’s INC Giving projects which aim to create a positive impact in the community.

INC members appreciate the efforts of the Sheriff Department in Waldorf, Maryland.

The Church’s members in Waldorf, led by their resident minister, Brother Joven Medrano, gave out baskets of canned goods and other food stuff to Waldorf’s firefighters and police officers to express their appreciation of what these men of valor do.

WVFD and Waldorf’s Sheriff ‘s Department pride themselves in providing timely and efficient service to the residents of Waldorf, making the city a safer place to live. The congregation also gave out God’s Message magazines, Iglesia Ni Cristo’s worldwide publication, to each department as part of its missionary work.
