One of the primary suspects in the killing of Horacio Castillo III is now out of the country.

Based on records of the Bureau of Immigration, one Ralph Caballes Trangia, born on November 10, 1995, boarded an Eva Air plane with flight number BR262 toward Taipei on Sept. 19, a day after the Department of Justice issued an Immigration Lookout Bulletin  against 16 members of the  Aegis Juris Fraternity.

The fraternity is believed behind the death of Castillo, who sustained a heart attack due to massive trauma believed brought about by injuries sustained during hazing rites.

Trangia, an official of the fraternity, is the son of Antonio Trangia, who police said was the  registered owner of the Mitsubishi Strada with plate number ZTV 539 that was used to take Castillo to the Chinese General Hospital.

The elder Trangia was also named by Manila Police District Director, Chief Supt. Joel Coronel as a primary suspect in the killing.

John Paul Solano, who claimed to have found Castillo’s body in Tondo, Manila, was also named a primary suspect after barangay officials disputed his account a body had been found in their area at the time the University of Sto. Tomas student said he found it.

The barangay officials based their argument on footage from a closed-circuit television camera in the area.
